We'll trap opossum under your deck, porch or shed in Michigan and Indiana
The opossum is a fascinating creature that is unique in North America due to its marsupial status. These animals carry their young in a pouch, similar to a kangaroo. Interestingly enough, female opossums can give birth to a litter of up to a dozen babies just 13 days after mating. As cute as they may appear, opossums can actually be quite dangerous. They can take up residence in your attic or under decks and may carry diseases that can cause harm to humans, pets, and livestock. If you live in a rural area, it’s crucial that you be aware of a particular neurological disease that opossums can carry called Equine Protazoal Myeloencephalitis (EPM), which can affect horses. Our top priority is to release healthy opossums, but if necessary, we will use humane lethal traps for those that present a danger. If you suspect that you have spotted an opossum in your area, don’t wait – contact us immediately for assistance.
